“Hello friends, today I will tell you a story about a frog and two fish. There was a lake where two fish and a frog were friends. They had a very close friendship. The three of them would play, jump, and sing together all day long.

One day, several fishermen were passing by the lake. They saw that there were a lot of fish in the lake. One of the fishermen said, ‘Let’s catch the fish from here today’. It was evening, so one man from the group said, ‘No, we have already caught a lot of fish today’. ‘So let’s leave it for today. We will come early in the morning tomorrow and catch the fish from here’.

The three friends overheard this conversation. The frog friend said, ‘I don’t think it is right for us to stay here’. ‘If we stay here, our lives and the lives of our families will be in danger’. ‘Therefore, we should run away from here and hide somewhere else’. However, his two fish friends said, ‘No, this is where my family lives, and my ancestors have also lived here for many years’. ‘So I will not go anywhere else. I am a very good swimmer’. ‘I can save myself in any way. You don’t know how to swim, so you think about yourself’. He replied to the frog with arrogance.

The second fish also said, ‘Yes, I will also not leave my home and go anywhere’. ‘I swim very well, so I can save myself, so I will also stay here’. Both of them replied to the frog with arrogance.

However, the frog, thinking about his and his family’s lives, left that very night and went to another lake. The next morning, when the sun rose, all the fishermen had arrived there and started laying nets to catch the fish. These two big fish were also caught by those fishermen. No matter how good of swimmers they were, they got caught in the fishermen’s net. The fishermen caught both of them and, putting them in their bag, started to leave from there.

On the way, the frog saw that his two friends had been caught by the fishermen. But he could not do anything about it. He became very sad and, upon returning home, said to his wife, ‘Look, both of my friends got caught in the fishermen’s net, and I could not do anything’. His wife said, ‘You could not do anything in this’. ‘When we have a premonition of any difficulty, we should think about how to escape it, not be arrogant’. I hope you liked this story.
